Any reco's for a low cost std def dvd player avail at CC? Gift and I get a discount

Something reliable with component output to an HT rcvr. CC has this Samsung Player/recorder: Samsung DVD>

I'd prefer to get him (my son) this Yamaha at BB as the HT is a Yamaha (gave him my old RX-V992), but CC doesn't carry Yamaha. Yamaha DVD

Some great DVD player bargains on ebay.

This machine was $400 when it was new. A lot better than the POS DVD players available today. If you don't need an HDMI connection, this will be a much better machine than any new DVD player under $150.00

The reason DVD players are so badly made these days is because they are likely to be out of production in the next year or so, courtesy of the falling HD-DVD/BRD player prices.
