Default ventilation seats

i have ventilation seats, but was wondering how cool should it get?

i set it on "6" and it does not seem that cool. it's no different than "3"

the lexus seats get very cool. the infiniti seats are frigid!

Default Re: ventilation seats

Note that they are ventilated seats, not air conditioned seats. They draw air through the seat. I can tell when they are running because in the summer, I don't sweat against the seat. They work fine for me, but they are not designed to cool you.

With car standing still, try placing a small piece (3" x 3") of paper on the seat cover where you or the passenger sits. Prefer very thin paper such as newsprint or rice paper / cigarette paper (Top, zig-zag etc. because everyone rolls their own tobacco cigarettes these days-wink-wink) Turn on the seat fan to #6, the paper should float & drift, like an air hockey puck with money put into the air hockey table. If not, the seat ventilation is not working. Check seat fuses etc.

Default it's not so much that it "cools" you, but instead keeps you from getting hot against the seat.

Mine work wonderfully.

Default lgball - Question

Another poster here mentioned that you let him borrow the MMI update CD-ROM

Wondering . .may I do the same. It' not the cost of $10.00 the bugs me . it's dealing with my very bad dealership
