DASH BOARD LIGHTS

MY DASH BOARD LIGHTS USHALLY COME ON WHEN I START MY CAR...HOWEVER RECENTLY I FIND AT THE EARLY EVENING HOURS BEFORE THE HEAD LIGHTS COME ON (AUTO SETTING)...THE DASH LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON...ONLY WHEN THE HEAD LIGHTS COME ON DO THEY APPEAR...I HAVE THE DIM SETTING AT ITS HIGEST POINT...CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE SUBJECT...NO PUN INTENTED.

I also noticed today that when using the feature that turns on the driving lights when you unlock with the remote, the driving lights won't come on if the light sensor deterimines that it is already fairly light outside. Some engineering team at Audi put alot of thought into this stuff.
