...being delayed. I read somewhere that '08 A8 production will begin on week #36 (early September). So, new ordering & spec info has not yet been made available.

I don't consider the new grille upfront a facelift since the W12 models came with that front end from the get go. The A8 needs a cosmetic facelift inside and out and some more power to keep up with the S-Class and Lexus LS in the power and features department.

I highly doubt that there will be any engine upgrade since the 2007 model got a 15-hp boost, but the facelift is necessary now.

I've never understood why all model's in the line-up have an s-line" except the D3. A sportier D3 is needed without moving up to a V10!
