Default For the love of......................... TPMS warning AGAIN...

Got in the car last night and the yellow warning came up when I started the car. I've already had two flat tires since December, I think one of my neighbors is out to get me! After visually inspecting the tires twice, I can't find anything obvious sticking out of any of them. The TPMS shows all 4 tire pressures in yellow and the spare pressure in green - so I'm wondering if the system just hiccupped and needed to be reset.

Hopefully Roadside Assistance wont have to come rescue me on the side of the road...

Default Tell Randy to stop putting air in just the spare. I can only hold so much! :-)

Default Change in temperature perhaps?

Check the pressures with a manual pressure gauge, if ok, just store the current values and you're good to go.

Default That's exactly what Randy did =)

Hopefully that's all it takes and I wont find anything sticking out of any of my tires!

Default Doesn't the warning symbol respond after a 3 lb change from last reading?

Store and reset. Everytime my TPMS "responds", I actually have picked up a nail. Had another nail last week. Two "plugs" in the rear, each tire, I do get nervous at the occasional 100MPH or GA400!

Default RE: "Everytime my TPMS "responds", I actually have picked up a nail" .... Exactly why I'm nervous

Everytime this has previously happened and I just reset the system thinking it was nothing... within a day or two I found the offending hardware sticking out of my tire! Unfortunately, one of the nails was in the sidewall so it couldn't be plugged, had to replace a six month old tire that was still like new!
