Default WARNING D3 owners!! D3s are now falling victim

to losing their Xenons to theft, same as the S4 guys have experienced. A D3 was being flatbedded to the local bodyshop and I asked the driver what was wrong. He pointed to the LF headlight and I almost threw up. The perps were unsuccessful but they sure made one hell of a mess. My thinking cap is on and with the help of Audis and VWs for Life, we`ll think of remedy.

Default I remember fondly my Olds Toronado with retracting headlights...

I think if you put up a gard tower/mailbox at the beginning of your driveway, some search lights and a couple a dobermanns, your headlights should be safe...

Default We had a '68 too. Fast as *&%t in a straight line, as measured by the barrel speedo.

Never met a fast sweeper it liked, though, but better than the domestic full sized RWD sedans of the time.
