Default My 2005 ar does not have heated seats. If I bought some, are they "plug & play"?

My ar came from Hawaii and is one of the few without heated seats out there. I have an opportunity to buy some used seats that are heated. I've already got a new HVAC unit that has the seat heater controls on it. Just need to know if the wiring harness for the seat is "plug & play". Anyone ever done this or know how?

Default I doubt it. On the older models, the harness was not present. YMMV.

Default I have looked into this

I have the same problem. I bought my 05 from Fort lauderdale and it has every single option except cold weather package. Ridiculous that a $50k plus car doesn't have this feature, but i digress.

As far as I could tell, the wiring harness is not there, it's available from Kufatec. I believe it also would require an comfort module reporgram so that the MMi recognizes that they exist.
