Default MMI 33.6 Done

Thanks to the dealer kindness who ordered the CD my MMI has been updated to 33.6
Unfortunately they forgot to enable the battery level check so I'm now looking for the VAG procedure (can anyone help?)
Lastly the NAV DVD V5 is still terrible but Navteq still claims that 7 has problems and keeps it out of stock...

Default Battery Level Procedure

Connect the Vas Tester to the vehicle and erase all sporadic fault code

Select 07 - DISPLAY/CONTROL UNIT and add. 32 to the adaptation value of adaptation channel 2.

The battery charge status will then be displayed again.

Default Got the 33.6 MMI update

I guess my dealer is ahead of the curve- the battery level is present.

I am also somewhat dissatisfied with some aspects of the Navteg disc. last week I was on a bridge, and the GPS insisted I make a right turn. There was no exit, and I didn't feel like plungng to the water below. GPS is good, but not perfect-

I hear you. First time (when they did 24.7) they did it right and put back the battery but this time they forgot. Well now it is done!
According to Pierreb version 7 is much better than 5 but the problem is that it is hard to find. I wonder if this one on ebay is the right one:[list][*]http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&sspagename=ST

I'd gladly give you the update but the dealer just installed it and took the CD back. If you go to the dealer and say the right thing they'll do it for you and I can help you with that if you want.
Please check pierreb signature for various TSB which will get it done for you.
If you in NJ I can tell you a dealer and a rep who'll get it done for sure.
