Default Almost 5K and just getting better

I'm just a few hundred miles away from my first oil change and I have to say this is the only car that I've owned that gets better as more miles I put on. I have 3.2 and when it was new, I got 29 mpg driving from Orange County to San Diego driving 70 mph. With almost 5K miles now, I got 32 mpg driving to LA this week. With gas prices in Southern California rising every day, this is very comforting. I can't wait until I get my first oil change. I'm hoping the car will feel even livelier.

I read that the performance will continue to improve until 20K. I'm definitely looking forward to next 15K miles!

Anybody perform oil changes between recommended intervals? I know this is out-of-pocket expense but is it worth while preventive measure? How much do dealers charge for oil changes?

Freeway without traffic only! I get around 14-17 mpg around the city. I don't look at it when driving in S mode!

See my previous post...I drive with an anvil strapped to my foot. At 2500km, I get about 13-14 mpg, better on the highway. ****ty gas mileage but the silly grin on my face says it all when I drive it.

Default Highway mileage really is nice...

I had 90 miles left on the tank when I went driving out of town. It increased to 140 after a few miles on the highway!
