Driver Information Display Question...

What color is the driver information display in the '05 A6? Is it the old red dot matrix style or is it a "full color" screen? The brochure shows it both ways.

The full colour version as per the A8 has just been released to order as an option here in the UK for £125.00.

for cars with DVD Nav (US/CDN). US won't get a full color driver info display as a single option I heard as it is now available for Europe.

Though I suppose that if I always waited for the next great thing, I'd never get any great thing. Besides, how much color do I need? That area pretty much only needs to be capable of telling me what gear I'm in and maybe what I'm listening to on the radio. Does it also echo nav instructions?
