Default Well, as promised here are the pics of my Piano Black Interior!

I think it transforms the way it looks! Big thanks to Brian and Dario at Avalon Motorsports!

Let me know what you think!

Default Looks Great. All parts removed, painted and replaced? I read here that

removal of some of the dash parts was very difficult. Someone had been planning on changing to Carbon from original and could not get the original parts out?

Mike

Default Everything taken out the refinished and put back in!

Removal and install was VERY easy. It took 20 min to remove everything and a bit less to put it back. Definatly a DIY.

Here is the guide I used for removal, very useful, with the exception of the e brake portion, it is not correct and do not follow or risk breaking it (as I did!)

Default Looks great. Now all you need to modernize that interior is a RNS-E Nav/Stereo unit.

Default Worth the wait, fantastic. Get the RNSE, it will be perfect. How much did the refinish

run you? I have had my identical car to yours for 3 1/2 years and this may be a good change to keep me excited (as i am on week two of my car being fixed for DRC, valve covers and thanks to incredible low temps they agree my on-going moan from my steering on colder days is the steering pump and not the level of fluid. Only took record temps today for them to prove it to themselves...

ANYWAY...wow it looks great, good idea and you are it as far as i know to do it, i like that better than CF (or i would already have it).

Default Here is one site...looks out of stock at moment...there are

other vendors and quite a few posts on the topic. Very easy DIY install and makes a nice update to the interior.

The (2) SD slots are nice for the MP3s.

Default $1500, look on Navplus.us then search the classifieds here and wait or buy a kit there

Click the image to open in full size.

here a pic in my car. Really updates the interior. I got my second unit for about $1200 from another RS6 owner selling it. I bought my original one from one of the dealers on this website. You need the correct harness, the gps antenna, and adapter for the radio antenna with unit so find a full kit if not from one of the guys on the site. Allows you to easily add bluetooth and other things easily and is DVD based nav.
