Default Sweet RS6. Too good to be true?

I've been looking for a reason not to buy an RS6 for a few years. I always manage to find an out. I came across this one on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...em270097856737

It is my favorite color combo, CPO, and chock full of options including a very professional appearing audio upgrade and some sort of factory navigation upgrade. Furthermore, it appears to be a very reasonable price. Why isn't it selling? Am I missing something?

I actually test drove the car and it was ok but the guy was really nasty!! Also the car felt like it was beat. The interior was not in great condition. I would buy one from an Audi Dealer. Look at Cars.com there seems to be a few nice RS6's there. Good Luck!

Default (If) the seller is not an Audi dealer, how can it be CPOd?

I thought CPO meant inspected and certified as good-to-go by an Audi dealer, and Luxor (the seller) isn't listed in my booklet of Audi dealers. (Maybe cuz my book is from 2003?)

If the car somehow IS CPO'd by Audi, maybe you should jump on it. Over three days are left, so the fact that the bidding isn't high now doesn't mean it won't pick up.

Default It's not selling because ....

of the dreaded "red" OnStar light! lol. Looks clean - remember, these cars are getting on 4 yrs old and are facing lots of fresh models out there.

Default Condition?

I just noticed, in small type below the ad's "certificates," that condition is referred to as "good." I don't know what other ratings are available, if any, but I would prefer to see "very good" or "excellent."

I'm at 63K mi but definitely would give my RS6 one of those higher ratings. Aside from a few scratches, all small and none obvious, it looks like new. For a car to be in worse condition with far fewer miles ... well, it depends on what "good" really means. But a few cars were driven hard with little cosmetic care, as mentioned by one or two owners here in the past. You may not want one of those.

Are you someplace you can see it before bidding?
Maybe this IS the one ... and FWIW I love my silver interior. Stays cool, seems roomier, and not that hard to clean if you don't have stain monsters (small kids or messy pets).

Thanks Auditude. I was seriously considering heading out to NYC to check it out. Your review is enough for me to move on.
