Default Major Announcement - APR Partners with STaSIS Engineering

Major Announcement - APR COLLABORTATES WITH STASIS ENGINEERING TO BRING THE CUSTOMER THE ULTIMATE IN PERFORMACE INNOVATION

(Auburn, AL, Sonoma, CA)--Stasis Engineering is proud to announce that it has chosen APR, LLC as the primary distributor of its line of brake, suspension, and differential products for Audi and Volkswagen.

APRs strength in tuning combined with the unique line of Stasis brakes and suspension will provide Audi and VW enthusiasts with a complete and balanced package for their vehicle.

"This alignment brings two companies expertise under one roof, APR looks forward to bringing our customers the best suspension upgrades available in the market," said Stephen Hooks, president of APR.

Under the terms of this agreement, which is effective immediately, APR will now assume responsibility for providing sales, marketing, and distribution of the premium line of brakes and suspension developed by Stasis to the market.
The Stasis line up of Audi and VW brakes and suspension are available to the public as of today.

"The combined resources of APR, and Stasis represent the next step in maturity for the Audi VW market," said Paul Lambert, president of Stasis Engineering. "As Industries mature they begin to collaborate and consolidate resources, in order to produce a larger more powerful customer base"

Both companies have consolidated their distribution outlets, providing each with a broader contact base. The strategic partnership combines the engineering and marketing capabilities of two separate companies in order to produce one point of contact for the customer, which was previously unavailable.

Default I understand why STaSIS did this....It becomes increasingly difficult to maufacture your product

and compeate with your distributors. Distributors get pissed when they loose a sale to the maunfacture of the product directly. This helps with distibution and helps create a more level playing field for all the tuners wanting to sell the products.

Plus, there is already an established distabution network with APR, national and international. Saves time and money which can be spent on more product development which in the end helps the customer get a better product(hopefully). Also, should help decrease the cost as the production increses, scales of economy kick in. Just need to watch and see if the quality of the STaSIS product drops....which I don't think it will. There will, I am sure be different levels of product (as there are now) but I don't think Paul will let the brand he has built falter in quality because it is the reason people buy from STaSIS.

As for APR, I have never purchased any of their products so I can't speak personally about them. I have heard good things about their kits for the 1.8T and the 2.7T motors, so I think it is a pretty good fit....although I prefer MTM but not Hoppen. I think that is an example of a bad distibution alliance...MTM could be SO more in the US than it is.

Good Luck Paul!!!

Cheers,

Bauer

Default Well, hopefully this arrangement, will keep others from experiencing the 14 month saga

It's taken now 14 months, and 3 suspension kits to find the product which will last past 5k miles, and not end up in the "faulty" stack.

I made the conscientious choice to go with a local vendor, since I thought it would allow me a higher level of customer support.

That approach has ended up being somewhat of mistake. Case and point, I've been trying to get what is suppose to be the "final appt" for the suspension, for the past 5 weeks. Every week, there's a new excuse, crisis.

Hopefully by expanding their distribution, and the # of installers, others won't have the hassles that I have.

It's a shame, because the product is superb, and what Paul is trying to do is admirable. But if you can't get something right over 14 months, then you need to fix your customer support organization- I hope this is a step in this direction.

Cheers-
Ernesto
