Default AAH and AFC heads/motor swap????

this may sound weared, but i was wondering if i was to change the heads on an AAH motor to AFC heads and also change the camshaft to the AAH cams (i know the timing is different on AFC motor) will it work?

also can the AFC motor be swapped in place of AAH and what needs to be done in order for it to work properly?
I'm heaving a problem locating an AAH motor locally but there is a crap load of the AFC motors :-/
Thanks :-)

Default I've got the same questions. I'm about to do the AAH to AFC swap, thanks to Joe@Axismotorsport...

His AFC was out of his '97 A4 and has a fan on the drivers side that, IIRC, I can't have there. I need a diagram of the belt set up for my '94 90Q to install smoothly. I may just use my other AAH engines to look at.
