Default Any aftermarket muffler suggestions?

For a '97 2.8? I want to replace the one I have. Something with a nice low rumble.. not to loud.

Default I use ANSA. Don't cut the center resonator or you'll be sorry!

Default more info....

where can i get more info on that type of muffler? do they have a website?

also, do you have your resonator still on? if so, how can you put up with that rattle on start up when the engine is cold?

Default hum..

I got my muffler from e-bay. It is a universal ANSA sport muffler (dual-tip).

The exhaust rattling may be caused by old clamps. If your pipe is rusting, the only way out is to weld it, like I did =)

Default The sound is good...

The loudest sound is between 1K-3K if you hit full throttle but the loudest sound of this muffler is much much much gentler compared to Japanese-made muffler (greedy, HKS, etc, etc)

After 3K rpm, the sound becomes quiet and I think it is good for highway purposes =) I guess because the tip itself has its own resonator.

One time I was in my friend' acura and he had a greedy muffler. Geez, what a nightmare in the highway! I can barely talk inside the car with all windows closed.

Default on the website, is that under the stainless steel category or the ANSA sport category?
