Default Magneflow center res up for sale....

I took out my magneflow center res and replaced it with a matching seabring center res. So I have the magneflow for sale. It maybe has 2000 miles on it, and is in perfect condition. I'd like to get $100 shipped for it, I think it was $125 or something like that... let me know if anyone is interested. Price is negotiable.

I am interested.

Default Look at my pic poster and it's the center res in my system then

I think it's the same center res Mance is using.

I found a place that sells this stuff pretty cheap and I think I'll buy it all at once. Thanks.

Default again, if it's cheaper that I think let me know... I can adjust...

I just don't need it and it's still very-very good.

Default in terms of comparison, yes. Even if it's only the next size up it's 50% bigger and that one looks

like it's two sizes up when comparing the gap between final drive and left control arm which means it's more than double the footprint of the one I'm using. Mine is very tiny compared to the one in your pic filling less than half the insulated space where the old resonator lived.

Default Heh... it's funny b/c it's also a 2.5" inlet/outlet... I wonder why so much bigger...

It doesn't look so big just sitting here on the floor, maybe 10"x16" all together...

Default See? thats what I mean... if your's is 10x16 and mine is 8.5x11 then your's is almost twice...

the size of mine: 160 sq inches vs 93.5 sq inches. But magnaflow makes 2.5 inlet/outlet mufflers over three times the size of yours for some diesel applications and over twice the size of yours for some gasoline applications. Bigger should be quieter as they have more surface area sound-proofing. But bigger also compromises flow/velocity and efficiency even in the straight flow-thru designs. For best performance always better to go as small as you can on a straight-thru design. Too bad noise level disagrees whole-heartedly with that arrangement.
