Default Funnel from above with heater hose extension.

I used one of these funnels from Harbor freight:

With another foot of 1/2" heater hose on the end. It was just long enough to feed down through the top of the engine down into the tranny hole, and the O.D. of the heater hose was a good fit for the size of the transmission fill hole.

Default That looks like a good solution - thanks! :-)

But what about the rear differential? A squeeze bottle and a hose?

Default I did a Rube Goldberg solution...

Used about 24" of hose and same funnel, and tie wrapped the funnel to a ladder sitting right next to the rear passenger tire. Then snaked the hose over the tire and into the rear diff. Had to make sure there were no low spots in the hose to collect fluid, but it wasn't too hard to route.

Default You are inventive...

I think I'll substitute the ladder with my girlfriend.

PS: How'd you get rid of the squeaky clutch?

Default best solution is to buy a cheapo plastic transfer pump...

you can get them at all the big auto parts houses. It pulls oil/liquid out of one container on the up-stroke of the pump handle and pumps it into any other container on the down-stroke of the pump handle. Mine was under $10 from Checker Auto Parts. It has inlet/outlet hoses and you put the outlet in the tranny or final drive and the inlet into the container with the new oil. Pump it 20-25 times per quart until oil starts to over flow out the tranny or final drive ports that the fill hose is pushed into.

Keet it around, sealed up in a large ZipLok bag and it's there for next time or several other uses that always happen along when you have one.

Look for them at/near the hypoid gear oils in all the major auto parts chains (usually a red polypropylene plastic pump body with black pump **** & hoses). Tho I have seen white bodied ones that have threaded lids to screw on to quart or gallon containers.

Whole bunch easier, faster, cleaner than the funnel/long hose method... ICK!

Mr.D, if you're here, what happened?
