Default Need someone with an MSFW to do some logging

Hi need someone with an MSFW wheel and vag com to do something for me.......

Log in and go into the steering wheel
Select MEASURING BLOCKS
select 00 --- press all the buttons (6 plus tiptronic) and see what numbers are displayed.
Select 01,02,03 - write down what it says.

Im trying to retrofit an MSFW and
get the 6 radio buttons as working on 00,01,02 -- BUT NO TIP BUTTONS - i suspect that its on BLOCK 03

Can someone confirm this

Many thanks in advance and happy new year.

Any chance you can help with the measuring blocks? Which one corresponds to the tip button.

---------

its a "618" which was what this article mentioned would work

Im retrofiting this so I need to know what it should say as the tip buttons are not working despite new 618 module and wiring to Tip Selector.

The only thing not done yet is a new slipring but TeddyBgame seems to think I dont need it (Im upgrading from the 6 button MSFW to 6 button + tip MSFW)

Default Yes, but the TCU coding shown, as 01032 , is undefined, for XXXYZ where Y = 3. ...

It's probobly not related to the tip shift inop. Stock is Y=0.

Default The only entry in ETKA that includes wording for the slip ring used with tiptronic steering wheels..

is for PN 1J0 959 654 M, none of the other PNs for the slip ring say anything about the tip controls on the wheel, the others only mention the MFSW and or heated or leather.
