Although the Touareg is loaded with control modules, the K-line doesn't go to very many of them. Instead, the traffic is virtualized onto the CAN busses by the Gateway (in the instrument cluster).

For best results with Touareg, use Beta 310 or newer. There are a number of modules that Release 303 won't talk to.
