keyless entry update: tried both channells 1 and 21 and both read error not available

I suspect my keyless entry controller is toast.
Any other ideas, anyone??

Here are the dtc's I cleared.

4 DTCs Found:
01367 - Central Locking Pump Run Time Exceeded (Likely Leak)
35-00 - -
01371 - Alarm via Door Contact Switch: Driver Side
35-00 - -
01370 - Alarm via Interior Scan
35-00 - -
00955 - Key 1 Adaptation Limit Exceeded
09-00 - Adaptation Limit Surpassed

Both Channel 01 and 21 for reprogramming remotes with VAG-COM come up as Error Not Available.

the matching is done with the kludgy "2-key, outside the car" method. It's a bit too complicated to post here, but you'll find it on the Bentley CD.

Check your e-mail too.
