Insurance "flood car" diagnostics

Do you think it would be useful to use VAG-COM to check out a car prior to purchase?

Check all control modules (we have a feature coming soon that will make this a simple operation). Of course, have a competent mechanic check out the car for mechanical problems, corrosion of wiring, etc. __________________ Andy
