I'll tell you why.

My buddy has an $8000 bill coming! His 99 STI Coupe just went bang. We're on Puke track, he comes around the S bends, turns onto the back straight, accelerates, then bang, it starts making a hell of a racket. Pulls over, engine is RIP.

We tow it to possum's workshop, and they say, not another one! yeah, They get WRX's in every two weeks, taking the same S corner's, accelerating, then bang. Apparently the WRX sump's don't have baffles, and the engine starves of oil through the s bends, then the high revs onto the start of the back straight is just too much, and the bearings disintegrate and other ugly things happen.

No such problems for the A4 that pulled 200 down the back straight with two heavy chaps on board. One of the other lads had 215kph out of his 97 A4 286MTM. Did I mention it was pouring with rain? Smiles all around.
