Every now and then a B5 troll comes on this board and thinks he will impress us with his HP numbers.
I'm pretty sure no one here cares. We all could have bought a B5 if we wanted to, but we chose not to. Yet they still keep bothering us. What's the deal? Inferiority complex? Are you guys running over to their board and harrassing them so this is payback or something? Am I missing something?

I am getting this installed on my car. 2000 A6 4.2 in the next few months. I know Vast is working on a cheaper soulution for the B6 S4 guys. There are a few companys that are looking into closing the gap.
Just think of it like this. 3 years into the B5 S4 game they were still struggling to get into the low 12's

so what it has the same HP as the current. But if it's lighter, which I think they are going to try and do. Gets better mpgs, which it will do. Has torque vectoring quattro. Has better weight distribution....
it should be a better car all around than the B6/B7. And a chip/pully or both could make it quite fast.

B7 my A6 has more power and it is faster. But the B7 is like a dream to drive. You just can't knock the car it is solid. The performance will come when the people are ready for it.
I drove a B5 S4 stage 3. Just was not for me didn't handle and feel like my B7. WAY more refined the B5 is deffinitly dated

This has been happening since the beginning... After reading and analyzing their asinine posts for 4.5 years, this is my take: The ones who do troll suffer from a toxic mix of poor social skills, a lack of intelligence and low self esteem. They need their car and its hp to make them feel cooler, more interesting and superior. They are true trolls. They come for the sole purpose of starting an argument and cannot understand that a car's virtue is measured by more than it's hp #s. You can repeat and reword that very logical point all day long and they will continue to come back like a 5 year old with a fresh lobotomy. Hopeless.
