Default Knock sensor for 200 built in Feb '89 (MC1?)

Is it in fact an MC1? What parts supplier should I use? Looking online i found 2 different ones each for about $220, which is ouchie for my wallet. Any options/recommendations for where to buy parts? Just how crappy a job is it? I've heard the dual knock sensors are awful to replace...

Also, I'm on the lookout for a clutch master cylinder. Info on a fairly priced, reputable, quality parts supplier would be nice.

Default MC2

is the dual knock sensor, hence the 2. Your MC1 isn't hard to replace. They are color coded IIRC but I don't know what the codes (ie. what goes to what engine)
look up the correct part number with:
vagcat.com
source the parts from:
autohausaz.com
genuinevwaudiparts.com

Default Jeesh. Alright. At least it's not $220, thanks for the help! I'd much prefer to spend money locally.

Default I'm not certain it's an MC1, sorry I wasn't very clear. I was guessing it was, since it's early 89.
