Default When I lived in Mammoth, one of my roommates was a triathlete. Several times

through the winter he would head down to Death Valley and train. Crazy Bastard. But then, I spent my time chasing bamboo. Yes, this was before they had those nice breakaway gates.

Congrats to you Adam.

I do however wonder about your cramping. Hmmm, pre-race ritual 9 beers to get to sleep. Alcohol = dehydration /// dehydration = cramping.
Just a thought.
