"strafed by scandal" sounds better than "they sucked and lost a bunch of games".
I agree that the sensationalism in the media is pretty ridiculous though. I do have to say that I'm surprised UCLA hired Neuheisel.....he pretty much left two former "powerhouse" programs in shambles at Colorado and UW. I know he's a Bruin Alum but he has shown a clear and blatant disregard for NCAA rules and regulations in the past and I doubt he was brushing up on the rules in the NFL, so it seems like a pretty big risk. We'll see.

As much as I loathe UW,,, I respect Willingham. He has class.
I really do see their program turning around (despite their 10th place finish in the Pac-10 last year).
