Default S4 B7 VS A5 3.2. Will I really feel the lack of speed?

I am contemplating switching to the A5 3.2 from my current S4 B7. Once the looks of the A5 wear off, will I miss the 4.2?

Thoughts please?

Default You might miss the sound of the V8

... and the S5 was pretty damn sweet and fast though but you're looking at an A5

Default You wont miss the speed at all. However if you were coming from a B6S4 that would be different

Default Yes. I've driven both the S5 and A5 (thank Alex) and, while the 3.2 is more than

adequate and moves quite well, it's not a 4.2....and 2nd Tanner's sound comment.

Default Handling will be better due to the new platform

I'm still a bit amazed that the new B8 A4 with the sports suspension can do the same speed in the slalom as the B7 RS4. So if that's any indication of the handling, the A5 should handle very well which it will. When I test drove the S5 the first thing I noticed was that it didn't feel like a pig around the corners compared to a B6/B7 S4.

The one other thing you might not miss, is the poor gas mileage

Default True...much more neutral. So, does handling make up for loss of power hmmm? Habber,

just get an S5 and be done with it.

Default definitely will feel less acceleration, but the better mileage may offset it

Default You don't need the rear doors (kids or anything?)
