Default Paging: the usual GTG organizers. Anything on the horizon? Also, we welcomed an RS4 into the

clan Friday night at Starbucks.

I think it impressed all, as evidenced by the need for me to pull a Gordie Howe and put my elbows up to push you guys out of the way so I could get out of the passenger seat.

Well, it impressed all except the Porsche guys that were there...they always find something to be critical about to keep their cars above the rest. Well, ok, Alon seemed impressed too. So really, it was only Eshel that was unimpressed. Now that I think about it, he was downright rude. What an a...! j/k, of course, Mr. Go Sideways on the Yonge St./401 onramp...(that car is a beast!). Ok, then.

(BTW, I've never seen Tanner smile so much, and Blair couldn't stop giggling.)

(For those non GTA folks: The Starbucks is located at Avenue Rd. & Lawrence Avenue, North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, North America, Western Hemisphere, Earth, Inner Planets, Solar System, Milky Way, The Local Group, the Known Universe. )

Default Appreciate you bringing him out to the meet

Finally got a ride in an RS4.

Even his girlfriend seemed to fit in and laughed at our usual bantering.

Default Yeah, she was very cool about it; even considering the "banterers" pulled no punches...

A bit different for the Z06 guy who's "Yeah, honey, just a minute" turned into 15 minutes. Lecture + no sexor for him that night.

Default Hmmm, the Ferengi in me sees profit/bribe opportunities! ;) Oh, and I have few morals

and variable ethics...

...Bogdan had a good time and told me he will probably make it out this Friday too - why wouldn't he? - he was treated like a rock star.

Just bring a few bucks for gas money

Default For those Audi drivers from Earth, Carmine was hatched on "Uranus" :)

As witnessed by his pleasant posts. For the record you freak,
I liked the RS4. What I said was that I prefer a turbocharged cars, to a normally aspirated vehicles, and in IMO it's too heavy, and overpriced for $100,000. Take a ride in Bruno's car and tell me which one you prefer. Since you've had a ride in the RS4, come out to the track this thursday and I'll take you for a couple of laps in the beast. Bring the double protection Huggies, I know you have a tendency to drool and wet yourself. Just joking of course!

Default LOL. "You freak". It was a fun night though. For the record, I thought we were

going to blow the place up with that gas heater...I'm surprised I left with eyebrows.

I know...just breaken'em.

Price notwithstanding, it is an awesome machine. I don't want to turn this into a B5S4 vs RS4 post (one day I hope to own both), since it is beautiful. The sound of you and then it blasting by me was incredible.

Default You're talking apples to oranges

Let's talk stock S4 and RS4. Bruno's is far from stock of course.

As much as how fast a B5 S4 can be made fast and handle, I rather pick up a used RS4 But if you want something that you can mod easily, B5 S4 is tough to beat.

Default When I referred to you as a freak, it was not in a condescending tone.

When buying a car, especially for 100k, You have to factor price into the equation. One has to decide if the car is worth that much, and what else can I buy for that amount that suits my needs.
I'm not trying ot turn this into a B5S4 vs RS4 discussion, I just feel the B5S4 is a better value, that's why I kept mine.
