All I have to say is use a clamp instead of a tie-wrap when there's about 18-20lb psi...

I'm interested in this valve (they are currently sold out). In Forge's installation instructions, I see tie wraps used for all connectors. Were you missing the tie wraps from Forge's kit? I assume that you used clamps for the vacuum tap. Did you also use a clamp for the attachment of the vacuum line to the new valve?

but the clamps are a must where the vacuum taps are. Also, you'll need maybe about 4" of a 10mm ID hose for the vacuum lines. I actually hit 21psi today ![]() Here's a link to a DIY from an Audizine member. |
