Default NYC G2G. I'd like to thank Shivam (Parikh1234) and Matt (Manhattan Motors) and the folks from...

The NYC area for the two great G2Gs (so far). BTW, if others are interested in another G2G this week let me know because I might be here until Monday the 11th.

Shivam picked me up at my hotel in Time Square and we then proceeded to pick up Matt on our way to the restaurant where we met other car enthusiasts for dinner. After dinner I was invited to a Lamborghini meet the next morning.

It was arranged that most of us would meet at Manhattan Motors in the morning. From there we would proceed in a convoy to Brooklyn at a closed down airfield that had been turned into a park. Needless to say the drive down was far from boring.

Have no fear people, I took lots of pictures of the wonderful metal present at the meet (sorry if it is a long post)... Enjoy!

If you are going to go out on the town, might as well go in class, in this case with Shivam's beautiful Sprint Blue RS4.

On the morning of the meet, I got myself down to Manhattan Motors by riding a NYC Yellow Cab. Now I'm sure some of you know what kind of POS these cars can be not to mention the sometimes weird drivers you get. Anyway it was a short ride and I knew something better was around the corner. From Manhattan Motors to the meet I rode in this...

A beautiful white GALLARDO SPYDER! (drool)

On the way back to the hotel, I decided to ride shot gun with Shivam in his RS4 to take pictures of the Gallardo on the road.

Default There were many others too. It was a great meet. The Gallardo was nice especially its sound...

Going through tunnels was amazing and I tried to get it on video but I screwed up! Too bad.

The roads in the NYC area are just as bad if not worst than the ones in Montreal (hard to believe) and the Gallardo became almost airborn at high speeds on some of them.

The RS4 was great too. It could keep up with the Gallardo. I just don't know how much they were pushing it.
