How long was the car driven before the test, and where?
5cyl or 6cyl Audi 90? Modifications? -Dave

drive just before retesting. Rev your car right up to redline a couple of times. Also you might want to try and add some fuel addatives (don't know which ones?).
The hard drive will clean out deposits and can make a big difference on an emission test. My S4 (with piggies downpipes) failed on idle last month because I was driving it like a ***** for 2 weeks after I had my RS4 clutch installed. The mechanic gave me this advice and I retested and passed with flying colours. Go figure.

Last time I went for a test I threw in a bottle of that stuff from Canadian Tire that guarantees you to pass. Cant remember what its called. Might be a bunch of crap but I passed.
