ie 18" If so put snows on OEM rims for the winter and get new rims in the spring. If you're going to use the OEM rims for everyday summer buy 16" rims and tires steelies are cheaper but don't look as good as a cheap alloy rim. 16" rims and tires are cheaper than 17's and there is a bigger selction of 16" winter tires available.
As to the dealer pricing, I'm in the same boat and their price is close to anything I've been able to source. I't's more an issue of what 'look' I want rather than $. $2000 is about right. Hope this helps. Hugh

Find a cheaper shop, get some 15 or 16 inch wheels and tires and call it a day.
17 inch snows don't perform all that well in snow, they are more of a cold weather tire.

will not spend money for that. I think dealer sell a package for about $1300 for 15" wheels (hub caps) and tires (Pirelli). I think I'll go for that. Do you think it's fair price?

Could I get it cheaper if I buy only the hub caps from the dealer and then buy steel wheels and tires from an other shop?
