Default Anyone actually using 18" rims around T.O.? Any problems with the poor roads?

I've been considering going 18" but Eglinton, for instance, is so poor that I'm sure I'd damage the rims in no time.

Default I'v got 18" BBS RXII's.. no problems so far..

I had the same concern about the Toronto roads. So got got the strongest wheels that I could find.. They don't come must stronger (or more expensive) then these 2-piece bad boys. I also considered the OZ Superleggeras but at the time, they were not available in polished silver. But no problems so far... I did bend one of my stock Avus wheels (17") last winter.. I just swapped it with the spare...

Default You bent an Avus?

Was it the kind of situation where any wheel
would have bent? Curious because I don't hear
of people bending the Avus wheels a whole lot.

Watch out for Kingston Road / Highway 2 right
now, construction around Pickering/Ajax or so -
NASTY huge raised sewer grates about 3" high
that look ready to eat some alloys. No signs on
them either, just have to look for them.

Default yes, I hit a pothole going south on Woodbine just before it turns into Lakeshore...

I knew right away there must've been damage... the next day, it was filled in.It wasn't bent in half but it was slightly warped.. and yes, I am aware of that situation on Kingston rd. man they work slow...

Default Bump signs might be a nice touch :)

I love how the once purely-informational "bump" symbol is now the "oh ****" sign.

Default here you go...

I just gotta do something about that allroad look... Stasis maybe? The gap makes the 18"'s look puny.
