Default crab dip recipe

1 Small Diced Shallot
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1/2 Cup of Half and Half
1 Cup of Cream Cheese
1 Teaspoon of Mustard
1/2 - 1 Tablespoon of Old Bay Seasoning
1/8 Lemon Slice for squeezing
1/2 Cup of Maryland Backfin Crabmeat

-First, Melt the 1 tablespoon of butter in a small pan and add the small diced shallot. Cook the shallot until it's soft with out browning it too much.
-Add the 1/2 cup of half and half and bring your mixture to a simmer.
-Now fold in 1 cup of cream cheese and fold until you have a smooth consistency.
-Add the 1 teaspoon of mustard, 1/2 tablespoon of Old Bay and squeeze the juice of your cut lemon.
-Season your mixture with Salt and Pepper to taste and gently fold in your 1/2 cup of crab meat.

Finished. Serve on crackers or bread.

Default It's even better when you broil it with some Panko bread crumbs mixed with parmesan on the top.
