Default How much damage could have been done? What would you do? Flagship carwash cook my clutch

I went to Flagship Carwash in Rockville to get my 2006 S4 Avant washed After the car went throw the wash A guy got in and drove the car about 50 Ft the RPM where screaming I would say around 3 to 4K rpm. As soon as he stops I ran over open the hood and you could see smoke coming up between the firewall and motor. Everyone around could smell my burning clutch. I contacted the on site manager he told me to contact the District manager. Even after 5 min. he even agreed that he could smell the clutch.

So this morning I contacted the District Manager and of course he is giving me push back. What do you think my options are? What would you do?

Default How bad is the damage. Is it visible and can you show damage only and not something

like extreme wear due o negligence. Again What is the damage? If you go to court that is what the judge will want ot know as well as cost.

Default I had a parking attendant at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon city cook my clutch.

It drove like crap for about 2 weeks, but then it went back to normal. I'm guessing mine was just glazed. My clutch was smoking and smelled like burnt brakes when the car was delivered.

This is something that is so hard to prove and will be such a hassle. Nobody can prove how much wear he caused. Imagine being in front of the jury having to explain you take your car to the race track and beat the hell out of your car, yet some guy in a carwash fried it in 50ft.

Life is too short, so I'd say chalk it up to a life lesson, have a couple of beers tonight, and don't worry about it. Good luck.
