Default Window Replacement

Had the Rear Window of my 2005 S4 smashed in by a branch that fell out of a tree. Can anyone give me any ideas on the best place to get this fixed besides the Audi Dealer? Has anyone had any experience with Royal Auto Glass? I am located in Annapolis, MD.

Thanks in advance.

Default I'm in Annapolis, too! I had Diamond Triumph do my windshield...

...good price, but it took them 2 days and 3 return trips to finish the job. I'd look into the major shops; Safelite, Diamond Triumph, Royal...and see what brand glass and what price they offer.
Good luck with it...and keep an eye out for a red A6, I'll always return a wave from another Audi!

Default Do you have glass coverage through your insurance?

That should be covered on a different level than regular comprehensive claims... Then you can take it to a dealer who will provide oem glass and sublet the work to a glass professional.

Default I do

I have glass coverage but the insurance company watns me to go through their "prefered" company which is Royal. If I go to the Audi Dealer and get OEM glass I think they will still pay for it. I will have to double check that.

Thanks for the help.

Default Check on that.. or go through Royal glass only if they agree to get OEM glass direct from the dealer

Don't let them tell you its "OEM-quality" or "just like oem", those don't count.
