are 2001 ECUs compatible with 2002 ECUs for the allroad? Are the cars serial number protected or anything like that?

Paulroad from the allroad forum states that I'd have to get a "secret key code" as well as the workshop code from a dealer.

Is this something that you guys at the shop can do, or would I have to personally call the dealer myself? And, it would be for a transfer from a tip to another tip.

How long would it take to do the swap (or how much do you charge?)
