Default Yea - pay someone else to do it

IIRC, it involves dropping the fuel tank partially if not fully from the car, then reaching in and changing the filter, which in itself is a nasty little job aside from swimming in gasoline.

If you are gonna do it, it's best you go in saturday morning with your gas guage on E....the mechanic that did mine requested that I do that.

Mr. D did his own, and I'm sure some others here have as well...maybe they have some more accurate things to say about it.

Default Makes me glad

that the fuel filter on my Civic is mounted on the firewall under the hood. It was still a pain to replace, but at least easier to work under the hood than under the car.
