Default Who knows of a certified Audi technician in SE PA?

I have a 93 100CS. I have been told the car needs a new transmission. This is from a mechanic who is not a certified Audi technician. He is not interested in taking the trans apart - says it is too complex. Whereas installing a rebuilt one is more of a nuts and bolts installation. I want a second opinion and would like to get it from a certified Audi technician. Anyone know of a certified tech in the Southeastern PA area? Can the Audi dealers be trusted? I did read the concerns about Holbert. Any feedback on Rosen, Vision in Reading or YBH?

Default You might want to give John a call at Woodlawn in Philly....

...I *think* he is a certified Audi tech, or maybe he has one on-staff, can't recall. Anyway, they are good guys there...I'd call him up and see what he says.

Default Frank used to work for John@Woodlawn on the side...

Frank was a tech at Don Rosen, and currently works at Huntingdon Valley. Not sure if Frank is still working for John on the side though.

I would recommend Huntingdon Valley. I've found Peter (the service manager) to be extremely professional and honest in his dealings with me.
