Default $140 lifetime alignments from Firestone Car Care Centers. make sure you have the stock wheels on.

they normally cost $70. after 2 visits, you start reaping the rewards of free alignments. i go twice a year.

Default i'd rather not risk my wheels getting chipped when they mount the hardware.

i figured, if the alignment is correct with the stocks, it should be fine for the nicer wheels. =)

Default i don't know much about alignments but why would it matter what wheels are on?

it should still be pretty good if i decide to switch wheels for the winter let's say?

Default i was more concerned with them harming the nicer wheels when they mount the alignment hardware to

the wheels. they nicked up the BBS CK i used to own.

Default The short answer is that an alignment consist of many items working together..

..and if you take away one of those items, you no longer have a proper alignment.

The item I am talking about is the tire, and wheel. The diameter, wheel width and tread of the tire (new, partially worn & very worn) all will affect how the alignment comes out.

If you change wheels/tires after an alignment, your car is no longer IN alignment for the wheels you put on.

Default but can they do the 4 wheel alignment? I thought a special set-up was required for that.
