Default I think you'll find negative experiences with any dealer you try.

Riverside, by nature of the fact that it is one of the highest-volume CPO sellers in the country, is going to be more likely to have negative experiences by sheer probability.

I have read negative stories about them, but I've read negative stories about every dealer in this area. If you ask "what about this dealer?" someone will undoubtedly have a bone to pick with them. However, from my recollection, they were one of the highest rated local dealers on the old 1.8t.org dealer rating site, certainly better than Jack Daniels, Zumbach/Audi of Manhattan, and Paul Miller.

At the end of the day, if you're looking for a CPO car you're going to have to deal with a dealer, and your mileage will vary. I decided to buy a car from them because they had something close to what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I've been pleased with it thus far, although I've not yet reached the next service interval so I can't speak to that (but they have a huge service facility). I'd do my research, and maybe see if someone close by can check out the car for you first, but I wouldn't let a few negative experiences with the dealer put you off. I didn't.

I've also read good things about Town Motors in Englewood, NJ, and they had a good volume of CPO cars when I was looking.

Default yeh, I agree. I think its more likely that someone will speak up about a bad expierence also.

I got a Stasis 2006 A4 from them and so far they have been very good. The price of the car was also very good compared to a lot of the other dealers. I use to get my S4 serviced in Schnieder and Nelson which I didnt like as much but I bought it from Jack Daniels. All the dealers like people have said have their negatives. But for a price standpoint Riverside might make the best deal.
