After 8 days on the car two of which were at MSR... FasTTr let me have his old ECS drilled and slotted or I would have had a long walk back to Austin

Default I doubt braking force had a part in the sheering of ......

the hat from the rotor it self. It seems something has to have been warped, or mis aligned when you tightened it down. I'm not saying you're at fault, It's just something to consider. Maybe check out all the mechanical parts on that hub before you break another one, if something is indeed bent or broken.

Default Re: Torque wrench test etc,

I utilized my torque wrench and followed my normal alternating pattern, and up until eight days ago those hubs were fine with my factory rotors. I'm leaning toward just a plain defective rotor. I am guessing that if the rotor had never been subjected to the rigors (heat) of the track that it would have held up.

Good sugestion though, I'll have a second set with me next time in case it is the hub...
