Default Well, my normally 30 minute commute home from Acton to Arlington took me...

45 minutes tonight.

I left at 8:15. I think the "stay late" plan definitely beat the "leave early" plan today...

And yes, the obligatory empty parking lot quattro donuts were done

Default I left Boston at 12:30 and was in Natick by 1:15...

I've heard some nightmare stories. Half day at work FTW.

Default My 10 minute trip to the gym took 20 minutes at 3:30 (versus my usual 4 PM). When I got home...

...I went out and plowed for 4 hours. :-(

Default I feel lucky. My normal 25 minute commute from Providence to Mansfield only took 1:10 minutes.

30 minutes of that was just getting from my office parking lot to 95N at exit 25 in Rhode Island. Quattro plus Blizzaks = piece of cake on the roads.

The poor people going South bound on 95 in RI weren't so lucky. It was a parking lot with many cars on the side of the road and one jack knifed tractor trailer.

Default and the "stay at home" plan beat either of those plans ;-)

30" apple cinema + dual macpro + sun ultra40-m2 workstation + 13ms round-trip ping times to the office = no incentive whatsoever to leave the house. went out around 11:30am to mail some stuff and grab lunch+dinner, and made it back home just as the first flakes were falling.

Default Same here. Peabody to Methuen usually takes me 30 minutes where tonite

I went down 114 to 495 and it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Quattro was untouchable sitting on the Toyo Proxes FZ4's. I hit 60 MPH on 495 (only for a moment to test it) and had complete traction and stability the whole time. after that I cruised comfortably at 40 It was fun to go creeping by all the huge 4X4 trucks and watch their faces as a euro sport sedan out-grips them in slippery conditions.

And yes as I left work before I joined the traffic I also did the necessary Quattro donuts as the people around me in their scions and other FWD cars struggled to leave their parking spaces.

Bring the best storms you got New England because the S4 is ready.

Quattro FTMFW!

Default we closed up at 3:30. me and a friend got a 12-pack and went to the movies

Saw "hit man" at 4:55, good movie. Took back roads home to Providence and arrived around 7:40pm. Coworker who headed for I95 at 3:30 got to providence at 8pm. D'oh!

I need to run a snow shovel operating course for my housemates. Diff lock vs. Snowbank, diff lock wins again!
