Default Photos's from 1/14 CT/NY Audi Group Gathering at EPL in Stratford, CT (BWW)

Saturday's event had a great turn out with over 50 cars in attendance. While raining on and off, the warm (~45F) January day allowed for EPL to keep the garage door open with enthusiasts mingling indoors and out. Mark@Autospeed's dual GT25R turbo kit on the S4 was a big attraction, which EPL did a few demonstration dyno pulls through the day. Congrats to Chris K. for winning the raffle for the dyno session.

Thanks again to Tony Chick / EPL for hosting this event.

Here is the original post for the event:

Default How does that compare to a k04 car on the same dyno?

And was that on race or pump gas?

Default yup...I did a double take to. I miss my '86 4KCQS. It was a tank...

I wonder how they sync that dif lock with the TT. As I recall, the 3rd generation of quattro had an automatic diff lock....so they must have bypassed it somehow.

Either way, the diff lock in my old 4K was killer. I would lock it up on the highway doing 80 in a blizzard and have posi-traction on all 4's. Little did I know that anything over 15mph would killed the tranny. Luckily, my 4k lasted me for 9 years and 260k. May she rest in peace.
