Default Please help....

My wife is stranded in Frisco with a flat tire (blown up tire). She has the donut on right now but probably shouldn't drive back to Denver on it. Anyone here (Summit County or Denver) have a loaner tire (B5 A4, 15", Stock Tire Size) they could loan me to get her home. I could then return it to you.

Default I have some 16" wheels and tires from a B5 and a B6.

You would have to come to Superior to get them though.

Default How about those SSR Comps? ;)

You wouldn't happen to have AT Italia S5 16s?

Default Ah.....

No. Even though I have 6 in my set. ;-)

As for my OEM wheels, they're the 7-spoke B5 Sport wheels and the 5-spokes of off a B6 3.0. Sorry. I do have a set of 16" Mille Miglia 5-spokes, but I think that they're going back onto the B6 for good.

Default Thanks man, but I had to go get her...

Unfortunately there is no Discount Tire in the mountains and Big O wouldn't put on a used tire due to the Quattro. We have the tire replacement plan with Discount where you get a free replacement tire if one blows and can't be fixed so... I had to go pick her up last night and get the rim, bring it to Discount this morning then drive back up there and mount it. PITA for sure.

Default Sounds like a big hassle and a long night, bummer.

But with all things considered, I'm glad the blown tire didn't cause a wreck and she was OK.

BTW, I've had my share of tire problems on the open road too. Now I carry a full-sized spare. It's a good idea if you drive very far from home.
