Default I am debating when I should consider putting the 18s on. I heard on the news that 40% of the roads

in the metro area are in poor condition. I was hoping that after tax day I could think about it, but driving around after the rain I could see new chunks of road just scatered everywhere, from the new potholes forming. It hadn't really even been warm enough to repair the road, as it has to be at least somwhat warm to lay down new asphalt. I imagine I might consider it in June, if they can finally patch some of the pot holes up.

Some of the worst areas I drive on are the 76 through commerce city, but then again how do you expect them to fix roads, the tax revenue from the 3rd world (which is pretty much what commerce city is) has to be pretty low.

Something really needs to be done about the roads though. I would be more than happy to pay an aditional $100 in state taxes if it would be guranteed to entirely go towards roads.

Default The public voted against 1.2 billon in bonds for roadway improvements in 9/05...

It doesn't appear that many people agree with you. It only has to be about 40 degrees to patch potholes with hot-mix, so weather isn't the issue. 76 is a state highway, so it's CDOT's responsibility/funds not CC's. I bubbled a 16" tire this winter so I'm currently on the 17" wheels but at least I can see potholes now to try to avoid them.
