if its a federally banned substance, its possession can not be tollerated on a local or state level, right? i know these more localized laws often trump federal to a certain extent in certain areas....but fed. drug laws are fed. drug laws...period. that was my understanding at least.
regardless i feel, honestly, that these laws are stupid. if you want to do what you want to do on your own time, in your own house, that is a legal risk you as a person are willing to assume, and the consequences are just that...not unlike speeding. so, in short, im against this bill in principal. its more illegal for me to smoke a ciggy in a bar than posess pot? i think thats crazy ****.

as long as alcohol is legal and still killing thousands of people a year, and alcoholism is still being passed down generation to generation via DNA coding, I believe a logical alternative should be available to those who wish to have one...
That being said, I am a college graduate going to grad school to get my doctorate in psychology, I don't drink, but I do watch my friends get DUI's/DWAI's time and time again with the potential to kill other people other than themselves.. So, if I want to sit in the privacy of my home on a Saturday, watch a movie and partake, I don't see the huge deal.. That being said, I vote for.
