Here are a couple of shots of the just fabricated heat shield.

Can anybody figure out where that gold stuff is gonna go???

Still no air filter. I'm off with my wife tonight for a little R&R so I won't get to drive it anytime soon. As soon as we get back I'm off on a business trip for another week ;-(

Second guess, over the white cut outs shapes on the right side or whatever type of engine cover they represent?
