Default Just talked to Performance Wheel and Tire while shopping for 17" wheels. First thing he asked.....

"Now, do you want regular or chrome?"
Then I asked how much they weigh. He said, "Oh...somewhere between 17 and twenty-some pounds."
Yeahhh...thanks for the info.
He then told me he has NO wheels that fit my car wider than 7".
Oh, he wasn't afraid to swear on the phone, either. Classy.
I'm surprised how tough it is to find used 17" wheels locally. I just need something inexpensive for track use only. Hell, I don't even care what they look like. Help!

Default Thanks, Reggie. I searched the classified, but nothing there.

Not a whole lot going on there. One set of wheels being sold in the entire country. Maybe I'll try calling the local tuners again. It's been a while. Maybe they have different stuff now.

Default Oh, I 'd love to have those. Too bad that's about a grand more than I hope to spend.

Default Pat, don't know if these will fit, but I can probably work you a deal

Click the image to open in full size.

would be willing to let you see if one would fit. We bought them for our A6, but they won't clear HP2 calipers without 15mm spacers. They are a 17x7 on 5:112 pattern.
