In all fairness I see just as mant AWD sedan owners driving like the insane SUV owners. I recall a small storm last spring and I saw a guy in his brand new TT spin out on 6th into the center divider.
Doesn't matter what you drive, it's how you drive. Lucky for me I rarely get the Scout over 65 so it's pretty hard for me to drive reckless, plus having no real seatbelt makes me dive a bit more carefully as well in any condition. ![]() I too was surprised at the number of lazy people who didn't clean off their cars. I saw one guy hit the brakes on University and send all the snow from his roof onto his windshield so he had to stop in the middle of the road. Also, signals, taillights and headlights covered, how hard are they to clear off? We just had a conversation here at work how funny it is that when we get a good storm that it's like a freakin meteor just hit. Some areas got hit pretty hard so I know it was hard for them, but for the most part in the metro area any responsible driver in a 2wd vehicle would have been fine. |

Half a second later and he might have been dead due to a direct impact on the driver's door. I am not a fan of SUV's or Colorado drivers, but so far so good with my cars.... {heads off to find some wood to knock on}
